When people talk about outsourcing, most people either are in one of three categories.

1. Scared - These people WANT to outsource, but they think its sooooo complicated or there is a big learning curve to being successful. In fact, the biggest stumbling block for this group is their mindset. They are thinking in terms of expenses, possible failures and looking bad. Alllll super negative. If you find yourself in this group, then DON’T WORRY, we will cover a few tips and tricks to help you get over this hump.

2. Ignorant – These people think that outsourcing is bad and driving SLAVE labor abroad. That outsourcing is KILLING the American way. What is KILLING the American way is the lack of inspiration and innovation in the minds of these people? They feel that they don’t need to leverage their time cuz they are doing OK. They want to keep the jobs in the US and at home. The truth of the matter is that the world is getting smaller and people need to make the most of leverage time and efforts to boost productivity. I’ll cover a few pros and benefits to outsourcing and how you can still have outsourcing a WIN-WIN situation for EVERYONE.

3. Active – These people GET IT. They understand the importance and benefits of using other peoples time to squeeze more time from 24hours of the day. If you are in this group, I’ll be happy to give you some of my tips and advice to get more from life and from your VAs. Whether you are a solo business owner or have a team under you, its good to know that you share the vision of many other business owners to live the 4-hour work week.

If you are somewhere in between groups and have tried but have had less than sellar results, perhaps you just need to give it another try. We will be covering in another future post on how to simply test and screen you candidates to AVOID headaches and disappointments.

Whatever you reasons are to coming to this site and you need more support when it comes to outsourcing, I’ll be glad to share my experiences with all of you.

Look out for my next post on your outsourcing checklist.

Outsourcing wasn’t much in vogue until a few years back. In fact, people even thought it quite embarrassing to tell someone that they were outsourcing their work. The general impression was that they weren’t up to the task and the unspoken belief was that outsourced work would always be of an inferior quality.

But times have changed. Today, not only has outsourcing become very popular but it has also practically become the norm for businesses. With the grand popularity that home businesses have achieved, the popularity of outsourcing has reached its zenith as well. For, how could a single person working from home carry out all tasks related to a business without depending on a freelancing professional whom they can outsource their work to?

Here are the top reasons why you must consider outsourcing your business:

You can take up more work from a better range of clients because you have an army of people working with you.

You can get diversity in your team. When you find different outsourcing professionals, you find that these people are of different qualifications and skill-sets, which means you can even take up work which you were initially avoiding because of your own limitations.

No man is an island. You cannot handle all the tasks related with a business alone. There will be several things you are not very conversant with and things that you don’t like doing. If that is the case, you might find outsourcing to be a great option to accomplish these tasks adequately.

Outsourcing definitely helps you meet deadlines better.

For some people, outsourcing is also a means of reducing costs. If a particular service is expensive in your part of the world, you could find a professional from another part of the world where that particular service is cheaper. A lot of people outsource work from the developed countries to the developing countries where the economic equation helps them reap better savings and stay within tighter budgets.

Most importantly, when you work from home, you might find yourself to be quite lonely, especially when you have to take important decisions. However, when you have intelligent professionals in your team, you do find this task easier.

To be or not to be that is the question. With so many American Businesses flopping, how can one remain steadfast with the shakey economy? We outsource CAN and WILL save you money on your bottomline. However it is no magic bullet. There are many ways that outsourcing can help decrease your expense column and increase your personal productivity.

First ask yourself: What is the Single Most Task that Ends Up Eating Up Most of Your Time?

When we looked at our workflow (five years ago) we saw alot of our time was spending doing the “dirty work” of Internet Marketing with Article Submissions, Directory Submission and Content Creation.
